The Israel Occupation Forces announced the death of Major Yitzhar Hofman, which is yet another blow to Zionist invaders in the Gaza Strip.
According to the Israeli media reports, Hofman was one of the leading Israeli air force commanders who played key roles in the Gaza invasion.
He was responsible for the bombing of Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza as according to Israeli media, Hofman was supervising the attack and siege on the medical compound.
The hospital bombing had sparked international condemnations in the early weeks of the Israeli genocidal war on the besieged Palestinian territory.
Hofman is among four officers killed in Gaza on Wednesday, according to the official confession of the Zionist army. 10 other soldiers of the regime were injured in the battles in the past 24 hours in Gaza.
The Israeli army has so far confirmed the death of 224 of its soldiers since the regime launched its ground invasion of Gaza, a figure Palestinian groups and the Zionist media refute, arguing the army is hiding the real number to avoid the Israeli public outrage.
